Professional Pet Services
After 19 years of working in the music business, I retired and became a pet sitter because I love animals and I've cared for animals my whole life. My love of animals started at an early age thanks to my mother who always pulled the car over to pick up a stray animal. While I was still in the music business traveling around the world, I spent nearly every day off rescuing animals and I was that person in my neighborhood that was always asked to care for people's pets while they were away. I was pet sitting before I became a pet sitter.
In 1996 I started out as a pet sitter in Flagstaff; I now offer dog walking, dog boarding, waste removal, transportation and errand service, house sitting, nail clipping, dog agility training. I am experienced in giving medicine, injections and IV fluids. I also make jewelry as a hobby and offer custom necklaces for dogs and a matching bracelet for Mom.
In my more than 20 years of pet sitting, I have cared for so many kinds of animals, from Horses to Snakes and everything in between. I opened my own cat shelter in 1998, worked for numerous local animal rescue/welfare groups, a pet store and volunteered as a foster home for dogs and cats.
I am a member of Pet Sitters Associates LLC, Professional United Pet Sitters and certified in Pet CPR and First Aid by Pet Tech. I've had a city business license since 1996. I am a member of Flagstaff Sky High Jumpers Agility Club and Verde Valley Dog Agility Club.
I have been competing in agility since 2010 and I have 3 dogs that are running at the Master's level in AKC and the Elite level in NADAC. All 3 of my dogs carry numerous titles in AKC and NADAC. In June 2017 my dog Charlotte earned her very prestigious American Kennel Club PACH and PAX titles
In March 2017 my dog Charlotte and I attended the AKC National Agility Championships in Perry GA. We finished 28th overall and ran clean in 3 out of 4 events. Charlotte and I have again qualified for the AKC National Agility Championships, being held in Reno Nevada March 23rd, 2018.
At 13 years old Charlotte has competed in her last agility trial. Our final performance before her retirement was at the 2018 AKC National Agility Championships held in Reno, NV. Charlotte finished 13th place overall.
