About Me

I've always loved animals and cared for animals, and rescue was a big part of my life. My love and compassion towards animals started at an early age thanks to my mother, who always pulled the car over to pick up a stray animal. Our house was full of all kinds of creatures.

In 1996, I retired from a long career as a Sound Engineer to become a pet sitter in Flagstaff.

I now offer dog walking, dog boarding, waste removal, errand service, transportation, house check, nail clipping, dog agility training. I am experienced in giving medicine, injections and IV fluids. I also make jewelry as a hobby and offer custom necklaces for dogs.

I have had 13 dogs of my own in my adult life, birds, hamsters and too many cats to count. There have also been numerous dogs and cats that I rescued and placed into wonderful homes. I currently have 5 children; Jack, Charlotte, Frankie, Samantha and Holly.

My Bio

In my more than 20 years of pet sitting, I have cared for many kinds of animals, from Horses to Snakes and everything in between. I opened my own cat shelter in 1998, worked for numerous local animal rescue/welfare groups, a pet store and volunteered as a foster home.

I am a member of Pet Sitters Associates LLC, Professional United Pet Sitters and certified in Pet CPR and First Aid by Pet Tech. I've had a city business license since 1996. I am a member of Flagstaff Sky High Jumpers Agility Club and Verde Valley Dog Agility Club.

I have been competing in agility since 2010 and I have 3 dogs at the Master's level in AKC and the Elite level in NADAC.  In June 2017, my dog Charlotte earned her very prestigious American Kennel Club PACH and PAX titles. I have been teaching agility since 2016.
